There are times in my life when the stress meter is about to explode due to the stress that is in my life. Here are some ways a good friend of mine gave me to reduce the stress that seems to build in my life:
- Pray
- Go to bed on time
- Get out of bed on time
- Learn to say, "No"
- Delegate tasks
- Simplify your life
- Learn that less is more
- Give your self some time
- Pace yourself
- Take one day at a time
- Don't sweat the small stuff
- Live within your budget
- Have a backup
- KYMS - Keep Your Mouth Shut
- Do something for your innner child
- Carry your Bible - and read it!
- Get enough rest
- Eat right
- Be organized
- Automobile University - use your CD player to expand your knowledge
- Journal
- Find time to be alone
- Keep your lines of communication with God open
- Relationships are key to a peaceful mind
- Memorize scripture
- Be thankful
- Laugh (LOL!!)
- Laugh even more
- Take your work seriously - just not yourself
- Be forgiving
- Be king to unkind people (especially during traffic)
- Sit on your ego
- Two ears one mouth - enough said
- Slow down
- Remember you do not run the universe
- Before you go to bed - think of one thing to be thankful for
