Ways to Reduce Stress


There are times in my life when the stress meter is about to explode due to the stress that is in my life. Here are some ways a good friend of mine gave me to reduce the stress that seems to build in my life:
  1. Pray
  2. Go to bed on time
  3. Get out of bed on time
  4. Learn to say, "No"
  5. Delegate tasks
  6. Simplify your life
  7. Learn that less is more
  8. Give your self some time
  9. Pace yourself
  10. Take one day at a time
  11. Don't sweat the small stuff
  12. Live within your budget
  13. Have a backup
  14. KYMS - Keep Your Mouth Shut
  15. Do something for your innner child
  16. Carry your Bible - and read it!
  17. Get enough rest
  18. Eat right
  19. Be organized
  20. Automobile University - use your CD player to expand your knowledge
  21. Journal
  22. Find time to be alone
  23. Keep your lines of communication with God open
  24. Relationships are key to a peaceful mind
  25. Memorize scripture
  26. Be thankful
  27. Laugh (LOL!!)
  28. Laugh even more
  29. Take your work seriously - just not yourself
  30. Be forgiving
  31. Be king to unkind people (especially during traffic)
  32. Sit on your ego
  33. Two ears one mouth - enough said
  34. Slow down
  35. Remember you do not run the universe
  36. Before you go to bed - think of one thing to be thankful for
