John Maxwell and Mike Huckabee in Atlanta

For the first time, John Maxwell and Mike Huckabee will be sharing the stage to talk about "Global Needs Need Leaders." John C. Maxwell, founder of EQUIP, will be introducing Mike Huckabee and EQUIP to a few select guests on May 11th.

Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas and presidential candidate, will speak Tuesday evening, May 11, for EQUIP. Huckabee hosts his own weekly television show on Fox News Cable Network and is heard three times daily on ABC Radio Network's "Huckabee Report." Governor Huckabee is the author of six books.

The event, which includes dinner, begins at 6:30 pm at the Marriott Gwinnett Place Hotel, located northeast of Atlanta in Gwinnett County. Proceeds from the evening will benefit EQUIP to provide Biblical leadership training, resources and encouragement for Christian leaders in over 125 nations worldwide. The founder of EQUIP, John C. Maxwell, will introduce Governor Huckabee. Dr. Maxwell, best-selling author and speaker, is widely recognized as one of this generation's most influential authorities on leadership.

Governor Huckabee's theme for the evening will be "The Global Leadership Crisis and the Great Commission." Dr. John D. Hull, President/CEO of EQUIP states, "Following comments by John Maxwell and the Governor's address, attendees will be given opportunity to commit to partnership with EQUIP to develop effective servant-leaders to confront global human needs and reach the nations with the saving message of Christ."
